Maya Fleischmann is a queer poet and writer based in Toronto. She holds an MBA from the University of Guelph and a BA in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Toronto, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of The Gargoyle. Her work draws from personal experience with trauma, resilience, and the strange beauty of the everyday. She is currently at work on an upcoming poetry collection and a horror novella and can be found scribbling on napkins at cafes across the city.
