Patrick William Kelly is a scholar and a writer whose work has appeared in The New York Times, the Los Angeles Review of Books, The Rumpus, and The Lancet Psychiatry. He writes a weekly column, “Minds at War,” for Psychology Today. His academic book, Sovereign Emergencies: Latin America and the Making of Global Human Rights Politics, was published by Cambridge University Press in 2018.
