In his bachelor days, Robin mastered many financial arenas, working variously as a telemarketer (failed), plasma donor (very successful), and medical test subject (don't ask). He eventually worked his way up to professional children's entertainer, Balloon WizardTM, and an occasional stand-up comedian. Despite his attempts to make himself unemployable by earning a philosophy degree and writing unpublishable science fiction novels, he eventually fell prey to that oldest trick question, "Yes, but how will you feed the children?" He now works part-time as a computer programmer and, with his wife, owns and manages a medical clinic, commercial real estate, and three children.
