A lifelong Orleanian, Ralph Adamo has published nine books of poetry, among the earliest were Sadness at the Private University (1977) and The End of the World (1979), both from Frank Stanford & C.D. Wright’s Lost Roads Publishers. A new & selected volume, Waterblind, came out in 2002, followed by three new books: Ever, Poems 2000-2014; All the Good Hiding Places (2020); and All Fall Down (2024). Among recognitions for his work is an NEA awarded in 2003. He edited Barataria in the 70s and New Orleans Review in the 90s .He teaches at Xavier University and edits Xavier Review and Xavier Review Press.
