Strickland is a writer from Georgia who started writing as an amateur in 1991 and never stopped while simultaneously spending nearly two decades as an 18-wheel trucker. - Since being forced out of the trucking industry in 2022 because of a $1600 fine that he couldn't pay, he started to pursue his writing full-time. Strickland draws on his vast cross-country experience; along with southern tales of witchcraft, lies and deceit his “Big Mama” told him as a child for inspiration. He has completed four unpublished middle-grade and Y.A. novels and is actively seeking agent representation. Currently residing in Arizona, he dedicates his time to writing and as an Editorial Intern for Hushmarrow Press.
