Rose Culbreth is a retired IT professional who traded troubleshooting computer systems for troubleshooting fictional characters. Living on the coast of North Carolina, she spends her days writing, photographing the world around her, and occasionally pretending she knows exactly where she’s going on her latest road trip.
A published poet, essayist, and novelist, Rose is drawn to stories about imperfect people finding their way through life’s beautiful messes. Her love of travel, photography, and observing human nature often finds its way onto the page—sometimes intentionally.
Her poetry has been exhibited at the Durham Public Library and appeared in several issues of Next Chapter Literary Magazine throughout the years.
Her hobbies include professional-level napping, collecting story ideas she’ll definitely write down later, and convincing herself that buying one more notebook is a perfectly reasonable life choice.
