Veronica Tucker is a writer, emergency medicine physician, and addiction medicine physician whose work explores medicine, motherhood, memory, grief, recovery, and the body. Her poetry and prose have appeared in The Offing, ONE ART, and American Poetry Journal, among others. Her work has received Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominations, and her flash prose has been recognized by Best Microfiction. Her chapbook, The House as Witness, was published by Quillkeepers Press in 2026. A lifelong New Englander, Veronica lives in New Hampshire with her husband, three children, two dogs, and backyard chickens. Her writing often moves between the clinical and domestic worlds, examining the strange intimacy of caring for others, the limits of what can be fixed, and the ordinary moments that continue alongside grief and uncertainty.
