Victoria earned her MFA in fiction from Saint Mary’s College of California, where she had the great fortune of being mentored by the incomparable Ingrid Rojas Contreras. Victoria's short stories center on women’s agency over their bodies and their personal narratives. She is also the founder of LocalEditors.com, where she helps high school students craft their college application essays.

Her fiction and creative nonfiction have appeared in Pithead Chapel, WOW! Women on Writing, Kveller, Your Teen, Piker Press, Months to Years, The Bark, Dog and Kennel, Animal Wellness Magazine, Reader’s Digest, and six volumes of Chicken Soup for the Soul.
