Twice a Pushcart nominee, her honors include the Anna Davidson Rosenberg Award, the Prism Review Prize, and awards from December Magazine, Frontier Poetry, Prime Number Magazine, and Kallisto Gaia Press. Tasting Flight was runner-up for the Arthur Smith Prize and a finalist for the Wheeler Books Prize. Poems appear in Rattle, Poet Lore, The Bitter Oleander, Lilith Magazine, Quartet, Watershed, SWWIM Every Day, and elsewhere. Yiskah holds an MFA in poetry from Mills College and teaches workshops on spirituality and creativity in the San Francisco Bay Area.
