Ontology Books

About this Publisher

Ontology Books is an independent publishing house based in the United Kingdom. We specialise in weird and speculative fiction, horror, and postmodern literature. Working with both established and new writers, we seek to publish works that offer different perspectives and push beyond the boundaries of genre writing. We are particularly interested in thought-provoking works that subvert genre norms and challenge readers. Our anthologies bring together writers to explore broad literary themes and experiment with established conventions. We seek to interrogate what labels like “horror” and “weird fiction” signify and what possibilities they hold.
