My fiction list leans literary, and when I do take on a novel it is because I have been entranced by both writing the writing and by a deeply imagined story I feel I haven’t read before. I am no good on fantasy, satire, thrillers or mysteries. I do like novels that embrace other eras of history while still telling a story with a resonance that stays new.

Eager for narrative journalism that enlightens on social issues, and social science when it is vivid and telling. While I occasionally sell to university presses, I am looking for books that can make an impact at trade houses.
