Kerry Glencorse The last time the agent had an active listing on Duotrope, the agent was affiliated with Susanna Lea Associates (see other agents at this agency). Permanently Closed: This agent is no longer accepting queries (October 2022). We provide the following information as an archive. About Kerry Glencorse studied Classics at Oxford University and Political Science at Sciences Po in Paris. After two years as a management consultant, she started her publishing career in 2000 at Editions Flammarion before moving to the Paris office of Susanna Lea Associates. In 2007 she moved back to the UK and set up the London office. She handles the agency’s clients in the UK and Australia and has a growing list of her own clients including novelists Alice Adams, Marie Phillips, Louisa Hall, Andrea Carter and Joanna Bolouri and non-fiction writers Tom Service, Caroline Jones and Ted Kessler. She is always on the lookout for new talent, especially in the areas of literary and upmarket commercial fiction; well-written genre fiction, including crime, thrillers, women’s fiction, and historical. And on the non-fiction side: memoir, narrative non-fiction, popular science, natural science, social and cultural history. Above all, she is looking for strong storytelling, innovative and original ideas, and books that move her. She has served on the English PEN Writers in Translation Committee, and, under the pseudonym Vanessa Parody, she collaborated with three other like-minded women on the erotic spoof Fifty Shelves of Grey.
