About

Michael Curry joined the Donald Maass Literary Agency in 2012, where he started as the assistant to Jennifer Jackson. His list of clients currently includes Cassandra Khaw, Locus and Aurora Award finalist Premee Mohamed, Locus Award-winner and Lodestar Award finalist Darcie Little Badger, Hugo and World Fantasy Award finalist Nick Mamatas, and Sturgeon Award finalist Vajra Chandrasekera. He’s been a slush reader for the award-winning Lightspeed Magazine and the original incarnation of Fantasy Magazine.

Looking for: – Science fiction and fantasy with superbly crafted prose, especially leaning toward the literary and the Weird. – Near-future thrillers with strong speculative elements (think William Gibson, Paolo Bacigalupi, Omar El Akkad, or Tim Maughan rather than Dale Brown, Brad Thor, or David Baldacci).
