Roxanne Madar

An agent with SBR Media (see other agents at this agency).

About

Roxanne studied Hospitality and the classics at university in Hungary before immigrating to the United States in 1996. After her daughter survived the tragedy at Sandy Hook, Roxie threw herself into the perpetual happy endings of the romance world. She was part of the vanguard of indie book bloggers, working with Schmexy Girl to promote authors in what was, at the time, the unconventional social media marketplace. Along with blogging, Roxie has been a professional beta reader for five plus years, and has worked with Candi Kane PR, Wordsmith Publicity and Paige Press.

Agent Impersonation Scams are becoming commonplace.
A legitimate agent will not contact you and request money to represent you. Never pay an agent an up-front fee. That is not how literary agent representation works. Agents earn a commission only after they've landed a publishing deal for you. Also, agents scarcely ever contact writers. If an agent that you haven't queried contacts you about representation, be suspicious. Look up the agent and check if the email address is correct for that agent/agency.
