About

Looking forward to Valentine’s Day 2014, Açedrex Publishing would like to publish an anthology of short stories about love in honor of 2/14/2014. But not your run-of-themill, romance love. Real love is much better, and usually much weirder, than that. Three of my favorite authors are Aimee Bender, Lydia Millet, and Karen Russell. If you’ve read any of their stories, you understand the alternative approach to human relations I’m looking for here. This book will be a celebration of what makes us humans all different from each other and what makes us all human. If you have a story that presents love in ways no one has ever seen before, or a new twist on the standard attraction-repulsion-attraction, please submit it! What this anthology may include: humorous, quirky, alternative, historical, social commentary, science fiction, fantasy, prose poems, undiscovered genres, etc.
