Amityville House of Pancakes Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions. We provide the following information as an archive. About AHOP is an anthology of humorous speculative fiction novellas, four per volume. By our terms, humorous can be funny ha-ha, funny peculiar, or ideally, a blend of the two. By our terms, a novella is between 15,000-40,000 words. Please do not send works that "almost fit" the requested word length. Speculative, by our terms, includes, fantasy, science fiction, horror, and anything in between or around that. We would certainly not exclude any blends of genre, and of the three defined terms, this is the one that's open to interpretation. The other two are non-negotiable.
