bd-studios 1980s-Themed Book Illustration A project of bd-studios.com Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions (March 2020). We provide the following information as an archive. About We’re looking for an artist with a retro sense of style for an upcoming poetry book that looks back at the ’80s. The decade of synth-pop and big hair has a lot to be nostalgic about, but one of our favorite things was the birth of MTV. We’re looking for illustrations with a graphic feeling that evoke the bold lines of the era, the street art of Keith Haring, and the design trends of the Memphis style. But the work should be uniquely yours.
