Boom Boom Freaky Freaky MATURE CONTENT A project of Disembodied Text Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions. We provide the following information as an archive. About We are now accepting submissions for our first printed anthology “BOOM BOOM FREAKY FREAKY”, which will be published by our micro-press at Two Bronze Doors. It is an anthology centered around pornography. Pornography, which we are interpreting very broadly, can be material (written, visual, audible material) which helps bring a sense of bliss or ecstasy to its viewer. Such material is often sexual in nature — but pornography does not necessarily need to relate to the erotic or sexual. As an example – people often talk about “book porn” when talking about books which intellectually (Or maybe even physically) arouse them. This is also true of “the pornography of violence”, “The pornography of art”, etc… We are looking for visual art, poetry, and literature which interpets the concept of pornography in a new/interesting way. Although we will be happy to read general erotic material, it should be said that such content should be extremely interesting to catch our editorial eyes. BOOM BOOM FREAKY FREAKY is meant to be an experimental meditation on the concept of pornography, not an unadulterated smut book. So surprise us! The more surprising and interesting your subject matter, the better. Show us what is capable of having a pornographic nature — bodies, books, lovers searching for ecstasy, the ever expanding Texas sky, puppies? You tell us!
