About

Novel Escapes is seeking bold, imaginative stories that reimagine the myths of the world. From the gods of Olympus to the Orishas of Oruba and Hindu Devas—all mythologies are welcome. We especially encourage stories from BIPOC and Queer writers, and we are excited to center #OwnVoices perspectives that reclaim and reinterpret cultural myths with authenticity, passion, and care.

Fees Notice: This project charges fees (or requires purchases) for all submissions, and they do not offer monetary payment for accepted submissions. (Note: About 11% of anthologies always charge fees.)
The fee is USD $15 (above average for anthologies that charge).
