About

"Condensed to Flash: World Classics," an electronic and print anthology for the people who love concise writing that is intense, entertaining and educational. This anthology will feature world classics condensed to 500 words or fewer. Interpret the theme broadly and imaginatively. We are not interested in summaries, but in literary stories that stand on their own, with a beginning, middle and end. You can add a twist or two-a preferable option-but the plot has to be well-recognized. Classics from the public domain only, please. They can be either novels or short stories, but you must identify the source.
