Bibliotheca Alexandrina is seeking submissions for Daughter of the Sun: A Devotional Anthology in Honor of Sekhmet. Suggestions for possible contributions include, but are not limited to: prayers, heka, poetry, hymns, ritual, essays, short fiction, recipes and artwork. Those interested in contributing to this anthology are encouraged to explore the various titles and myths of this goddess; her relationships with other Deities; the areas of influence and expertise this goddess holds domain over, and their place in the ancient and modern world; and the nature of her worship and adoration in Ancient Egypt and among today’s practitioners and devotees.
