About

The editor is interested in poetry and short fiction featuring Deities of magic and witchcraft, and the witches, wizards, sorcerers, sorceresses, magi, and other practitioners of magic themselves. In other words, the editor is seeking poems and stories about Ceridwen and Hekate and Odin; Aradia and Circe and the Witch of Endor; Freyja and Oya and Thoth; Befana and Louhi and Nicnevin; Väinämöinen and Gwydion and Hermes. Please note that the editor is seeking submissions which feature the Deities and magic practitioners of established world traditions and mythologies, not original characters; so, if you want to submit an urban fantasy story about Circe in modern-day New York, please do so; but no stories about your original character practicing magic in modern-day New York.
