About

Love, lust, desire, and romance have long been driving forces for the actions of humans and mythical beings alike. This anthology will examine all facets of romantic love between gods, gods and humans, or other creatures of myth and religion. We are LGBTQ friendly but stay away from the normal subjects you’d find prohibited in any typical romance call (no underage, nonconsensual activity, scat, incest, bestiality, etc.) unless the source mythology specifically demands it. If you are unsure if your pairing works for the anthology, send it in and let the editor decide. This is new territory and we are willing to set fewer boundaries for what we do/don’t want to see and let the stories/poems win us over (or not) on their own merit. Your romance can be set in contemporary times and include elements from other genres such as mystery, science fiction, horror, etc. Do not, however, send us a story that is strictly mundane; if there isn’t some aspect of the mythical to the romance, your submission will be rejected.
