About

Patty Paine, the founding Editor-in-Chief of Diode Editions and Diode Poetry Journal, has been collecting old photos and negatives for 15 years and recently began posting these recovered images on Instagram. She has also used some of the vintage negatives as the basis of an experimental photography art project that is also posted on Instagram. For this anthology poets are asked to select a photo (or photos) from either, or both, collections to use as a poetry prompt (or prompts).
