About

This will be a mini anthology of 100 Halloween (All Hallows Eve, Samhain etc) themed microfictions to celebrate the holiday! We’re looking for exactly 100-word tales (drabbles) of Speculative Halloween Horror. Submissions must fit the theme, the genre, and the story must take place outdoors!

Camping, trekking, Trick-or-Treating, cavorting in the woods, rituals beneath the stars to summon spirits, grave-digging, haunted forests, mysterious murders in abandoned parks and dark alleyways, psychological torture by unseen entities, the undead rising to feast on the living, the fae stealing children away… Ultimately, we’re looking to feature a broad variety of supernatural creatures and entities from all cultures and backgrounds across the world! Horrify us.
