No Cause For Alarm Anthology

A project of Pinko Press (see other related projects).

About

Write us a story in which catastrophe has been absorbed into the fabric of ordinary life. Not catastrophe as plot, but as background. The flooding that is mildly inconvenient. The extinction that registers as admin. The end of something vast, received as nothing in particular.

We want fiction that has internalised the flatness, the shrug, the mild continuing-on.

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
