About

The publisher of Ancient Paths literary magazine is currently seeking fiction for Stand in the Ways, a new anthology of spiritual novellas. Spiritual themes may be explicit or implicit and might include topics such as redemption, forgiveness, doubt, faith, reconciliation, spiritual growth, or spiritual struggle. Do not be didactic, simplistic, or preachy. We are not looking for formulaic inspirational fiction, but rather fiction with rich, nuanced spiritual themes, believable stories, and interesting characters. All genres will be considered, but literary fiction, mainstream fiction, social science fiction, and character-driven romances will likely receive preference.
