Tender Masculinities A project of Purple Ink Press (see other related projects). Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions (October 2024). We provide the following information as an archive. About This will be a collection of related works to be published on the Purple Ink website based on the theme of tender masculinities.Tender and masculine are not concepts often seen together, but tenderness is also a part of masculinity. The overarching message of our culture is that there is only one kind of masculinity: a brutal, sometimes violent, stoic, cold, ego-driven version that makes a joke out of everything. The truth is there are many versions of what is masculine. We invite you to explore what is tender. We are not sure what we will end up with and are excited to see your work. Voluntary Fees: This project accepts voluntary fees for "tip jar" submissions.
