About

At this point in time, most of the world has grown up inundated by Mr. Walt and his creations. And for every person who adores this company and its products, there are an equal number of folks who hate everything it represents. But regardless of how an individual feels about Disney, many artists tend to use the iconography, for better or for worse. This non-fiction anthology is simply a search for the answer: What is Disney to You? What makes a person love the characters and worlds? What makes a person want to use these wholesome characters for unwholesome imagery? Why, as adults, do we flock back to these fabricated worlds? Why do we keep coming back to these bits of iconography? The Subversive World of Yensid is a culmination of these questions. Exploring the full spectrum of feelings towards these worlds and characters, this anthology wants to present the good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful, the weird, the creepy, and everything in between.
