About

In the M*A*S*H episode several items are placed in the time capsule buried by the 4077th that have very unique meanings – but several centuries into the future will those who find the buried treasure actually understand the significance of the fishing lure that once belonged to Colonel Blake, Radar’s teddy bear, the broken fan belt, or any of the other items. Would it even be possible for them to understand or will they see the fishing lure and teddy bear as a sign this was a popular vacation spot? So here’s the challenge – first you need create and submit a list of ten items and what they mean to the people who contributed them – Think like M*A*S*H did and find the personal reasons for the contribution (a fishing lure that represented all those who never made it home / a teddy bear that represented lost innocence, etc). You must also include a “Letter to the Future” that will be appended to the end of the story that uses your time capsule.
