About

“Tough as Nails” is a Sword & Sorcery Fantasy anthology. All genres within that will be considered. Dark, disturbing, suspenseful, supernatural, gruesome, ultra-violent and gory are welcome. Bring out your barbarians! The more action-packed the better! Go online, Google “Frank Frazetta,” sift through his work for a few hours while listening to the complete works of Slayer (for the freaking hardness) and Iron Maiden (for the awesomeness!) then read 30 issues of Heavy Metal Magazine and you should get an idea. Think Conan the Barbarian meets Sláine. But that’s just for a beginning idea. The more unique, the more crazy, the more likely your story will get the star treatment… Well, at least it will get into the book!
