Up, Do: Flash Fiction by Women Writers A project of Robocup Press (see other related projects). Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions. We provide the following information as an archive. About Up, Do: Flash Fiction by Women Writers is a joint project conceived of and curated/co-edited by flash-fiction writer/poet Patricia Flaherty Pagan, and edited/designed/published by Tamryn Spruill, founder/editor of robocup press. We are seeking raw, risky unpublished flash fiction. Rich flash reveals a slice of a full-bodied character's emotional life. Flash fiction is not merely a partial narrative with a clever last line. It is a story with a (condensed) narrative arc. There is no suggested theme. We seek stories which reflect the broad spectrum of womyn's experiences. Literary fiction with mystery, thriller, science fiction, romance, fantasy or horror elements are welcome as long as they adhere to the above-mentioned guidelines.
