The competition is managed by the Scottish Arts Trust, a registered charity. All funds raised are used to promote the arts in Scotland and beyond.

Fees Notice: This project charges fees (or requires purchases) for all submissions, except for bursaries for free entry are randomly awarded among those who apply for assistance during a portion of the submission period.
The fee is GBP £12 (average for contests).
Important: Publication in Edinburgh Anthology offered to authors of all longlisted and shortlisted stories.
