Forgotten: A Marroween Contest

A project of Marrow Magazine (see other related projects).

Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions (October 2025). We provide the following information as an archive.

About

For this contest, we’re looking for stories, poems, and hybrid work about what the world forgets: the lonely, the unloved, the misplaced. Lost children. Overgrown graves. Gods with no one left to worship them.

Show us memory like rot, like fog, like a disappearing act. Whispered names. Ghost towns. The young couple who never made it home.

If it’s gone — half-erased, half-remembered — we want to see what’s left.

Fees Notice: This project charges fees (or requires purchases) for all submissions.
The fee is USD $10 (below average for contests).
