Fiction On Hiatus

Your story can be on any subject and any genre, but must be prose. Poetic, lyrical language is more than welcome, we just don't want a 729-word poem. Also, if you can create a full story (setup, conflict, resolution) in so few words, you'll shine brighter in our favor.
