James Jones First Novel Fellowship Contest A project of The James Jones Literary Society About The James Jones First Novel Fellowship is awarded to an American writer of a novel-in-progress who has not previously published a novel. The Fellowship is co-sponsored by the James Jones Literary Society and the Maslow Family Graduate Program in Creative Writing of Wilkes University. Fees Notice: This project charges fees (or requires purchases) for all submissions. The fee is USD $33 (above average for contests). Important: This prize does not award full publication of the novel. First prize includes a cash prize and publication of an excerpt.
