Montreal International Poetry Prize About The Montreal International Poetry Prize is a non-profit organization housed by the Department of English at McGill University. The competition is facilitated by a faculty-directed organizing committee which assembles a new jury of twelve distinguished poets from across the globe and one prominent final judge every run. From the 60 finalists selected by the jury, the final judge chooses the single winner of a significant cash prize. All finalists are published in a print anthology after the competition closes. Connecting poets from all over the world with one another and with the literary community of McGill’s faculty, staff, and students, the Montreal Poetry Prize is a major event in global anglophone poetry committed to represent the diversity of global Englishes Fees Notice: This project charges fees (or requires purchases) for all submissions.
