The Poetry Business International Book & Pamphlet Competition A project of The Poetry Business (see other related projects). About Established in 1986, The Poetry Business International Book & Pamphlet Competition was the first pamphlet competition of its kind and now has a long history of discovering and promoting outstanding new work by established and emerging poets, with previous winners including Daljit Nagra, Mike Barlow, Pascale Petit, David Tait, Kim Moore and Holly Hopkins. The International Book & Pamphlet Competition is often a key stepping-stone in many winners' careers, and most winning collections go on to be published as part of a full-length collection, either by Smith|Doorstop or by other notable and sought-after publishers such as Carcanet, Bloodaxe Books, or Seren Books.
