PSA Storefront Poems A project of Poetry Society of America (see other related projects). About The Poetry Society invites poets to submit a previously unpublished poem no longer than 10 lines to be installed for a month in the window of our storefront office on Smith Street in Brooklyn, New York. The PSA opened its Brooklyn storefront space in the fall of 2022, creating a new home for poets and poetry readers. In addition to hosting a variety of public programs, the space serves as a laboratory for poetry-based public art projects with rotating installations in the window. The storefront window has featured poems by Nicole Sealey, Elizabeth Willis, Carl Phillips, Joy Harjo, Reginald Dwayne Betts, and Charles Simic, among others. Approximately 5,000 pedestrians pass by the window each day. Fees Notice: This project charges fees (or requires purchases) for all submissions, except for PSA members, and they do not offer monetary payment for accepted submissions.
