Religion of Love Poetry Contest

A project of Religion of Love

About

At Religion of Love, we believe poetry is one of the most potent forms for reaching for a Love that transcends religious and spiritual boundaries (think Kabir, Bulleh Shah, Teresa of Avila...). Our quarterly poetry contest aims to provide recognition and a platform for those poets who reach for such a Love through their craft. You may be religious, spiritual, or neither—we want to know what moves you, what makes you feel alive and part of something bigger than yourself. Works that are distinctly religious (any traditions) are welcomed, as are pieces reflecting on beauty, mercy, or whatever aligns with your experience of Love, divine or profane. What feels sacred to you? What feels real?”

Fees Notice: This project charges fees (or requires purchases) for all submissions.
The fee is USD $2 (below average for contests).
