#Resist! Contest

A project of Ricky's Back Yard Weekly Dump of Arty Goodness (see other related projects).

Do not submit here! This project is permanently closed to submissions (December 2017). We provide the following information as an archive.

About

The rules are simple - We want an original unpublished story or visual art piece that signifies the theme to our last anthology of the year. We wanted this theme to sum up all the events of the recent year (or two). We originally were going to call it 'Fucked', but after seeing Roger Waters in concert last night (although, I can't quite put my finger on his political viewpoint when regarding Trump...he is really quite shy about that), the title changed to Resist!

Fees Notice: This project charges fees (or requires purchases) for all submissions.

Duotrope listings do not imply endorsement or recommendation of the project being listed. Before submitting, you should use your own judgment to determine whether the project meets your standards.

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
  • Be professional, patient, and persistent.
