After retiring our Senryu Contest that had a good run of six years, we wanted to shake things up a bit and make it more interesting. We hope you continue to show us your support by encouraging our latest initiative to promote the exciting and infinite possibilities of Vispo. Visual poetry is a development of concrete poetry, characterized by intermedia. The predominant elements that constitute a visual poem/vispo include non-representational language and the interplay of text & art. There is a strong graphic element to these pieces.
