The River Heron Editors' Prize A project of River Heron Review (see other related projects). About The Editors’ Prize is an award given to the poet whose submission shows evidence of a clear and unique voice. A cash prize and publication are awarded to the winning poet. Publication in the contest issue will also be awarded to four finalists. Work should include a fresh perspective and mastery of language as befits the content. We encourage the contributions of under-represented persons in order that we may enrich our journal with the variety of voices extant in our communities.
