About

The Washburn Chapbook Prize is named after the poet and professor Laura Lee Washburn whose dedication to teaching, mentoring, and the writing careers of her students is unparalleled. This prize is named after her in the spirit of further promoting the diversity of voices from women writers.

Fees Notice: This project charges fees (or requires purchases) for all submissions, except for BIPOC-identifying writers. The fee is USD $10.
Limited Demographic: Submissions are restricted to women and non-binary people.
