About

Deep Water Literary Journal is an online publication seeking to showcase short fiction, poetry and artwork that source from the darker side of the human experience. We are looking for thought-provoking, well-crafted work, regardless of genre. We are not interested in “profanity for profanity’s sake” and will discard such material without response. We are interested, for example, in work that exposes the dark heart, the hidden pain, the silent scream and loss of hope. If your work engages with the darkness that sometimes engulfs the human spirit, with sensitivity and an investment of emotion, then we want it!
