About

Room is Canada’s oldest feminist literary journal, and features fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, and art by emerging and established women and genderqueer writers and artists. Room is a space where women can speak, connect, and showcase their creativity. We publish original, thought-provoking works that reflect women’s strength, sensuality, vulnerability, and wit.

Important: Limited Demographic: Submissions are restricted to women (cisgender and transgender), transgender men, Two-Spirit and nonbinary people.
