Raising Mothers 18

About

We accept submissions of literary fiction, memoir, interviews, book reviews, nonfiction, and graphic narrative. Raising Mothers exclusively seeks out and supports work by and about those often marginalized in literary spaces, including Black and Indigenous people, and people of color; trans people, cis women of color, agender, gender non-conforming, genderqueer, two-spirit, and non-binary people; intersex people; LGBQA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, asexual/aromantic) people; people with disabilities; and especially people living at the intersections of these identities. Raising Mothers serves as more than a literary magazine; we are a community of displaced voices centering ourselves and working in concert as a place for healing.

Voluntary Fees: This project accepts voluntary fees.
Important: Limited Demographic: Submissions are restricted to women of color and nonbinary parents of color.
