Arcturus 90

A project of Chicago Review of Books (see other related projects).

About

In the past, Arcturus only published writing with a strong sense of place, but today we have no restrictions on the content we publish, except that we’re passionate about publishing new perspectives—new ideas, new voices, new worlds, new challenges, new ways of seeing, etc.— a theme that can take an infinite number of shapes, including speculative fiction, experimental poetry, political essays, narrative reportage, and virtually everything else.

Important: Wait at least six months between submissions.

Before Submitting

We cannot guarantee that the information on this page is correct. It is not unusual for publications to evolve or close without notice. We do our best to keep up, but it isn't always possible. Just remember…

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
  • Be professional, patient, and persistent.
