Coffin Bell: a journal of dark literature

Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions (January 2025). We provide the following information as an archive.

About

Coffin Bell is a new online journal of dark literature. Call for submissions poetry, flash fiction, short stories, and creative nonfiction that explore dark themes. When we say “dark themes,” we don’t necessarily mean traditional horror. We want to read what constitutes horror to you. Surprise us. Make us think in a new way. Give us a new fear. Make our skin crawl.

Fees Notice: This project charges fees (or requires purchases) for some submissions. They charge fees for "tip jar" and post-quota submissions.
