About

Collective Unrest is an underground political resistance magazine. The poetry, fiction, essays, photography, visual art, music, and otherwise contained herein are meant to produce a feeling of humanity, unity, unrest, social justice, and urgency. This space exists as a sounding board, driven to better the existence of all people. We do not believe in hatred, we do not promote violence, and we do not accept ignorance. I hate that we even have to say this but we do NOT tolerate racism, homophobia, xenophobia, sexism, transphobia, agism, ableism, misandry, misogyny, or any other forms of bigotry. We are a place of respect, compassion, empathy, understanding, and solidarity. We value human rights, sincere, informed expression, and truth, above all else. We are fiercely anti-Trump and anyone who supports him, but he is not the only hateful force we are resisting. There is injustice everywhere. Collective Unrest is a place for fair and just resistance. A place to express your concerns, fears, and experiences. What is real is what is important. Share your human experience with us. We are a safe space.
